Are you a growth marketer looking to apply your skills and make an impact at a fast-growing, mission-driven company? Do you relish designing complex digital marketing initiatives? Are you energized, rather than unnerved, by big, hairy, audacious goals? If your answer to all these questions is yes, we have an incredible opportunity for you!

The Company
Springboard is a fast-growing startup, built by a team that is passionate about fixing education and bridging the world’s skills gap. We’ve helped tens of thousands of students learn skills like data science and UX design, using a unique approach that involves 1-on-1 mentorship from top industry experts.

The Opportunity
We’ve seen incredible revenue growth so far, driven by a talented and versatile yet small growth team. We’re now looking for a Growth Marketer to join the team to scale revenue by designing and implementing a user acquisition strategy for some of our flagship Career Track courses. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, user-focused marketer, who can both think strategically and dive into the details.

As Springboard’s in-house Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll own funnels; optimize every step; create and improve bottoms-up plans; build and test new audiences, platforms, and flows; question everything; and never settle! You’ll work closely with the admissions, operations, and analytics teams to understand our users, and to deploy resources (time, money, people) most effectively. Reporting to the Head of Growth, you’ll be responsible for delivering — even exceeding — revenue targets — and transforming thousands of lives.

Principal Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and manage user acquisition funnels and campaigns across channels (including Facebook, Google, Email, SEM, retargeting, etc)
- Identify the highest-impact testing opportunities; prioritize, experiment, iterate, learn, and optimize constantly — whether with channels, messaging, positioning or personas — based on ROAS, LTV and conversion rates
- Own and manage a budget & KPIs for each course you work with, tracking and growing them to hit increasing targets
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (Analytics, Product, Operations, General Managers) to identify new approaches & user segments, and develop creative digital campaigns that pique our audience’s interest
- Constantly report your learnings so the broader team can learn from them!

You:
- Bring 2-4 years of experience in user acquisition with high-impact results; you’ve managed mid-size advertising campaigns, grown a digital audience, and owned significant budgets ($500K+ a year)
- Are expert in analytics systems (eg. Google Analytics), data analysis, and algorithmic attribution models; prior experience with Marketo / Hubspot and SQL / Tableau is a plus
- Are proficient in Excel, using Pivot Tables, vlookups & PowerPivots
- Have good design and UX sensibility, with successful examples of past campaigns
- Excel in high-growth startup environments: you’re fearless, comfortable with ambiguity and challenges, proactive, resourceful, resilient, opportunistic, always experimenting and exploring, and a fast learner
- Are a strong communicator who can go from research to sharing knowledge rapidly

With a female co-founder, 33% women on the exec team, 50% women at the director level, and ~40% managers who are women, Springboard has a strong foundation of female leadership.

At Springboard, bringing your “whole self” to work is encouraged. People want to get to know you beyond what you bring professionally, and you’re more than a title or skill set or “type” in this environment. A common concern that often comes up for women is feeling afraid to be feminine or showing more concern or care for fear of being taken less seriously. That’s not the case at Springboard, and the team is beyond supportive!
