Event Volunteer Opportunity at SERENDIPITY September 27

Calling all passionate, open-minded and energized women! Take part in SERENDIPITY, a unique conference for women across ages and industries on Sep 27 in San Francisco, and join us as a volunteer! We need help welcoming 500 women into the GUILD network for two days, and we’re looking for amazing volunteers to help us make our first-ever unconference run smoothly.

While our volunteers will be spread out across the city, here’s a glance at opportunities to get involved:

 

• Welcome attendees and answer logistical questions about the conference

• Assist speakers and hosts of each salon to ensure all materials needed are present, and help facilitate activities during various sessions.

• “Behind the scenes” work, like assembling goodie bags, setting up chairs, assisting our demo brands with their display tables, etc.

• Check-in desk at the Happy Hour (Friday evening)

• A ticket to our Happy Hour, giving you a chance to connect with attendees and solidify the relationships you made at SERENDIPITY!

 

As a SERENDIPITY volunteer, you are:

 

• Open minded and ready to help start the conversation. SERENDIPITY is about making authentic connections, and this starts with you!

• Excited to help our attendees feel welcomed and comfortable.

• Flexible and prepared for whatever comes next. There will be 500 women attending SERENDIPITY, and that means your job could change a few times throughout the day. We like to keep it interesting.

• Passionate about the core values of our conference: learn, connect, and inspire. We’re on a mission to connect women to each other both personally and professionally.
