Event Planner Internship

Are you passionate about connecting people and uncovering what it is that connects humans to each other in social and professional settings? At the GUILD this is what we set out to do: we make highly relevant introductions for like-minded women in business to meet and network.

​

We are looking for a passionate event manager who brings creativity to the planning and execution of networking events for the GUILD in different cities over the course of the next 6 months. You will be autonomously working and manage venues, bar tenders, budget, ticketing on Eventbrite and fundraising of raffle tickets. If you love big events, connecting with fabulous women, if you believe in the power of networking and want to be part of something special.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

​

Work with Community Director to organize and promote outreach events, fundraisers and community building socials. Ideal for someone who is highly organized, outgoing, flexible and interested in gaining experience in event management and planning.

A sense of humor, wit, and upbeat personality are a must!

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

​

• Have some event planning, logistics or production experience

• Excellent communication skills – oral and written

• Be highly organized and have excellent attention to detail

• Outstanding time management – ability to set goals, prioritize and meet deadlines

• An out-of-the-box thinker and innovator

• Be computer-literate and Internet savvy, with direct experience in using MS Office (Excel, Word), Google apps (Docs, Calendar, Gmail).
