Social Media Marketing Intern (San Francisco)

Are you passionate about connecting people and uncovering what it is that connects humans to each other in social and professional settings? At the GUILD this is what we set out to do: we make highly relevant introductions for like-minded women in business to meet and network.

The GUILD seeks an experienced and creative social media intern to support our marketing team with marketing campaigns, social media posts, creation of digital assets and content marketing.

​

In this role you will be working closely with our world-class marketing team. Bring passion and personality to the role, along with expertise in creating captivating, easy-to-understand communication. As an early-stage startup intern, you will need to be comfortable to run with this task and keep the ball rolling.

​

A sense of humor, wit, and upbeat personality are a must!

​

RESPONSIBILITIES:

​

• Assist in writing and editing social media posts, blog posts, and email blasts.

• Designing flyers, graphics, and other marketing material for events and our online presence.

• Assist in planning community and fundraising events

• Reach out to organizations and general public

• Collaborating with team on new ideas, directions, and venues for marketing

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

​

• Working toward a college degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., English, Marketing/Communications, or Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or other relevant major).

• Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools.

• Self-motivated, fast learner, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.

• Internship is position in San Francisco

• Remote or in-person meetings at San Francisco's startup hubs
